Ng Audio Edit Glitch!! 2009-12-02 21:49:54 Reply

I recently just edited an audio submission by throwing a new mp3 file into that submission. NG doesn't realize that I have changed the song or given the submission a new mp3.
It has happened many times before therefore making me have to resubmit the entire everything into a new submission starting fresh with no ratings, downloads, reviews or favs.

What do I do about this?

Have you tried clearing your browser's cache?

Yeah, not just a Ctrl+F5. Have to wipe your cache from options.

well, I tried deleting my history, I tried restarting my computer after deleting history, Ctrl + F5 doesn't work either. Oh well. Can someone please say step by step instructions on how to clear my cache? I have internet explorer, I don't use firefox or anything like that.

press ctrl+shift+del if you are using firefox. i think it's the same in IE.

i've experienced the same thing you have, and unless something weird happened when you uploaded the new mp3 (which is less likley unless your connection screwed up) it is indeed a matter of just clearig your cashe.

I've had this issue, it turned out it just takes a day or two for the updated track to be put up.

if you experience the same issue again, there's a simple way to find out if it's your cashe that needs to be cleared or not:
- download the tune

i tried that when i had updated a tune, and it turned out that the tune i downloaded indeed was the newest version, even if the old version is what was playing in the stream. so my cashe obv. wasn't cleared up.
