Well finding out your cat is pregnant usually isnt 1 night before the kittens are born. You should have a long time left, unless you pay that little attention in which case it would explain her getting pregnant.

You could likely take 1 day extra as a chance to ask vets about it, be safer for the cat if they could perform it.

Your best option would probably be giving the kittens away. Attempting an abortion or doing something to the kittens carries a high possibility of an animal cruelty charge, which is a felony in a lot of areas--I know it is in my state. I suppose you could get the cat an abortion with the help of a vet, but cat abortions is not a subject I think about often so I couldn't tell you.

Unlike some people, I myself have been losing sleep over the subject of cat abortions.
