I didn't get a full break up, but I txted "I love you" to my ex and she replied: "yeah, about that, we need to talk"

I pretty much knew I was gonna get dumped right there and then.

I for one am couragous enough to break up with someone face to face, but if you have received a text break up chances are they love you and don't want to tell you face to face for the fear of hurting you. So in all, don't be so pissed about it, because most likely it means they still love you or they could be cowardly to tell you face to face. But don't hate someone because of a text break up. It only maks you look like an asshole.

By being pissed that they didn't have the balls(whoops, ovaries) to tell me to my face, I'm an asshole? That makes sense.

My first boyfriend brokeup with me over text message. I didn't really mind mostly because we had a sucky relationship. But I do think its a terrible way to break up with someone. At least talk to the over the phone if you cannot look at them in the face while you do it.

I have never experienced one and will never do it to anyone, it's just cruel, uncaring, and the easy way out. Sure, breaking up in person isn't a easy thing, but it makes a difference. If you cut off a relationship via text, get ready for a psycho girlfriend or something similar. It's the worst way you could do it.
