See, it's funny because he changed my post to look cool and edgy with his huge e-penis, and doesn't realize that most people who play WoW are 17+.
Played the trial, got bored to fuck.

WoW is just Runescape with slightly less suck and much higher price($15 a month, if i'm not mistaken)

I played it and I like it. But the reason why newgrounders hate it is because of the large population that play it. Because there have been great MMO's which have not reached as mcuh players has WoW for a long period of time because all the players dont want to subscribe and level a character on a new game when they have Wow.
Death cures a fool
A whole bunch of my friends play it, but from what I saw, it consisted of doing nothing but the same thing over and over. While the same might be said for any game, the big difference with WoW is that I have to pay a subscription to grind.
Thanks, but no thanks. If I'm gonna grind, I'm gonna be doing it for free, or the one-time fee of buying the damn game once.
When all else fails, blame the casuals!

that only makes it worse! so, your saying its a bunch of older fucks sitting in their rooms, or the basement grinding on WoW instead of actually doing things with their life!?
you must be one of them you raging troll.

This this, and this.
It was so mundane, I can't believe my friends are so engrossed.
Stop looking
I played it for about 3 months. Then I realized it was addicting to the point of running my social life. The problem is that it is a fun and addicting game, but the amount you have to play to get your money's worth can also get you addicted.
BOTTOM LINE: WoW is fun, but people hate the WoW Fanboys.

Hey guys, I don't really like WoW, but that doesn't mean I'm gonna invade EVERY SINGLE FUCKING WARCRAFT TOPIC just to say so, It's a wonder the video game forums don't just get shut down.
This goes for Halo, runescape, et cetera.
Make your own thread or keep it on your profile, don't troll the players, the world's longest E-Penis still compensates for nothing.

Ya see, most people who play WoW are 13+, because the game is Teen (Although that does not stop some people). I've been playing it for a bit now, and since I'm 14, It's not like I can do anything meaningful with my life right now anyways except do well in school and other en devours. I play this game, I am NOT addicted to it (I don't see how anyone can) and I received a 92 average on my last report card (two days ago..?) .
Not everyone who plays this game is a raging nerd, but you DO have to be in the right mind set to enjoy it. It is by NO means a bad game, because it has an outstanding amount of polish and support, but just because you don't enjoy playing it doesn't mean that its a bad game.
Since 11 million people are paying 15$ a month to play this game (a potential downfall for some people), Blizzard is raking in tons of money, so this means that WoW isn't going away any time soon. Now you tell me, whats the difference between grinding on WoW, or spending time on your little G Mod things? time killed is time killed, some people just do it differently.
Tweeter and the Monkey Man were hard-up for cash, they stayed up all night selling cocaine and hash.
It's like this (I have a comic version of it, if you'd like to see it):
First, was Everquest. There was a clan on Everquest (which represented less than 1% of the fanbaes) that grinded through the game incredibly quickly. They complained on the forums that they didn't have enough to do. So, the Everquest team made more content. Most people took months to finish it, while this clan did it all in 2 days. This continued for a while until Everquest just became a boring grind that catered to no one but these losers that could do so much in a small amount of time. Because of this, all MMO's are just grinds, instead of being a fun fantasy universe that they were originally supposed to be.
The leader of this clan is now a lead designer for WoW.
My PSN ID is xscoot. Crazy, huh?

Is this a dig at me? What else can I do, other than try my best to contribute, because of my age?

This. It is incredibly boring after the 2nd day of playing. I don't get how people get addicted to such a boring idea.

Study, socialize, community service, sports, other extra curricular activities, get a job etc. Basically actually contribute to society rather than being anti-social.

The game gets better at higher levels, you get more crap, your guy looks cooler, and quests become more interesting.
brb ninjas surrounding house
Here's a summary, Grind/ farm to level 80
New character
repeat.
I don't see why you have to get so angry.
We can all coexist!
Until we can't.
I don't let my girlfriend play World of Warcraft because that would make her unattractive.
wow = decent game
wow fanboys = fucking anyoing!!!
i played wow for maybe 1 month because 3-4 of my friends made me to play it. in the start it was fun, but after i had did maybe 40-50 quests i was bored as fuck... managed to get to level 15 or something...
also why do i have to pay to play a game i have already paid for?
it's like you buy a Guitar Hero game with no songs and you have to download DLC's
also when i see movies on youtube of people getting theire accounts banned or something, i'm pretty glad i have a life and girlfriend...
would be more enjoyable without to repetive quests and less fanboys who only play wow and won't admit it exist other good games...

Geez, would you at least toss an example in a link or something? I mean, it's an ultrageneric tired argument, but not exactly copypasta.
Because it is the same fucking thing repeated over and over again over a period of weeks if not MONTHS, that you pay for continuously and have to continue to pay to experience any part of the game no matter how much time you put in.
Frankly, I played WoW to level 63, and got bored to fuck with it, I also took part in the 2007 tournament payed for update and have made many "alts" of different races, classes and talent trees.
The result?
Same. Damn. Thing.
Here is a fun packed guide to how you will spend an average few hours on WoW:
Log on
1: Get some quests by wandering around an area right clicking on friendly NPC's
2: Compleate said quests by right clicking on enemy NPC's, DON'T FORGET TO ADD BUTTONS 1-4 OR ELSE UR DOIN IT RONG
3: Hand quests in for "l33t lewt", monies and experience
4: Get an instance group together for lewt and/or money.
5: Do said instance by either spamming heal spells or by doing the same as step 2
6: Get enough xp to go up around 66% of a level
7: Do some crafting by left clicking on some things in a list, You might have to buy ingrediants using In game money
Log off
And before you yell "OMG H8R1!111!" I really do wish I could enjoy WoW, I really do, but I simply can't when they ask me to pay £9/$15 a month to repeat this formula over and over again, let us not forget that on your first year of playing you will spend around $195 on this game (1st month + original is free from www.trywarcraft.com then add Bc expansion $10, Wotlk expansion $20 and then $15 a month for 11 months, $165)
For that you could buy 10 games if you were a "smart shopper".
10 games or WoW for a year? Your choice.

On your first year of playing WoW, there would be so much content that it would be equivalent to 10 average length games, or bigger actually. Also it gets updated a lot, unlike games that dont have subscriptions.

It's alot more than sitting on your arse all day just trying to get by at school, coming home to Newgrounds and going 'well thats just life'.
It's rather sad that people don't try to do anything else.
