Been playing Perfect Dark - which is great. I haven't jumped into multiplayer yet, I'll probably test it out later tonight.

20G from it, so far.

I haven't been playing much of anything lately, tried doing more Perfect Dark but I spend entirely too much time trying to figure out how to do each objective. I should just be studying for midterms, not to mention that 4-5 page paper due next month. Procrastination is a hell of a thing.

However, I have been listening to music non-stop, specifically Nujabes. His death was reported just 2 days ago, car accident in late February; he was only 36, it really is the worst news I've heard all year, and I'm actually pretty depressed about it. Doesn't help that pretty much all of his music and/or lyrics are also rather 'sad' sounding.

Back to video games.

I've been inspired though. With spring break here and a lot of time to waste, I'm going to go back through Mass Effect 1 and try to clean up any achievements I missed while also creating an ideal save file to play through Mass Effect 2 with. If I bother playing Mass Effect 2 again so soon figure I'll try something other than infiltrator and maybe do a different gender run just for the hell of it, I could try doing the whole ideal save file in anticipation of Mass Effect 3 but that's so far off I'm not really concerned.

Yaay my Episodes from Liberty City is here, well it actually got here on Wednesday but who cares, and I'm playing through the challenges on Perfect Dark, number 15 is such a shitty challenge, slow-mo mode. I will now depart.

Because if you beat them, you're automatically a "Fucking cheating/cheap faggot for doing that" but at the same time, I think the little pissy messages are hilarious.

I bring this up as it just happened to me on UFC: Undisputed. A lot of people complain about the ground fighting as cheap and taking no skill, but most of them use it as an excuse because they can't pull of the ground work themselves and it fucks them over.

Example message would be "dude fuck you faggot, I''d whip your bitch ass at standing if you didnt take it to the ground and use that no skill bullshit, little pussy"

I mean really, if you want a game that is only stand up fist fighting, get Fight Night and shut the hell up.

I should probably add that when I say people call it "cheap" that I dont mean it's like the Hadukon (spelled right?), or Ken fighters from SFIV, it's like having a combo that you can do easily that's really hard to block, so people complain if they lose to it.

So I've resolved in my head that after playing about 5 minutes of BfBC2 online that I'm going to pick it up asap. I might trade in Heavy Rain and put that towards it.

I'm kinda surprised by the mediocre reaction - I think IGN 6.9 or something. It actually reminds me of Far Cry 2 a little, which was hyped but overall, was rather unsatisfying to critics and gamers.

Imagine S.T.A.L.K.E.R., add Fallout 3 vault grey/wasteland brown, remove sandbox, add some awkward controls and you've got Metro 2033

Right now I should be getting to 30,000G, but whenever I go to play the Fable 2 story I get distracted and start killing innocents.

One of the best things about PoP I thought was the interaction between the two... seemed almost human.

Today I've really only felt like playing Batman.
I'm going to solve all the riddles. All 240 of them.
I only have about 35 left.

Today I've gotten: (from Batman: AA)

Complete 1 Combat Challenge without taking damage - 10G
Solve 55% riddles - 20G
Solve 70% riddles - 20G
Solve 85% riddles - 20G

Should get another 40G from this game before I'm done with it and send it back.

After this I'm going to play The Saboteur (which Alec sent to trade for a headset with my friend), and I'll try to get that last achievement I needed but never felt like getting.

So my Lips mics work with GH Metallica. If only I could be bothered doing the vocal career so I can get 170G from Metallica.
