Yea, I quite possibly could try something like that, but isn't it more of a younger guys thing? I know I'm not exactly that old (20), but the majority of the people there will be like 16, which would be a bit weird.
Working as bar staff might have been alright but the pubs here generally seem well staffed and I'd never work in Wetherspoons. Know a few people who have and they hated it.
Would have been cool I guess to find some sort of low hour job that I could do on occasion and not have them feel like it's a waste employing me, knowing that I'll have to quit around September. That's what put me off applying. I can't imagine many places will think it worth while to give training when they know I'll only be there for a few months, if I were to look for a "proper" job that is.
