Well this is a turn up for the books. The Cartel is actually pretty fun. I'm really enjoying it so far. I mean there are a few areas to complain, but it's nothing big. Like the facial expressions don't often look how they should, and when I got stuck behind a sofa because you can only jump realistic height then loaded the last checkpoint and there were two copies of the person who was in the sofa room originally, one of which was static the other was how it should be.

Obviously that's something that should really be taken out, but it's not exactly game breaking.

The gameplay is fun, the story seems well thought out and not a 4 hour piece of shit.

The achievements are also good, and I can see myself getting a good lot of them in not much time. On 225G at the moment, but probably wont be playing it again until later because a friend is staying the night.

Ripped my calf in fucking half. Rhymes. Did not intend it to, but there we are.

Actually, I've never played the cartel I just hear it's terrible.

Was doing a Gears 2 Co-op session, but my partner was fucking terrible so i quit.

Two Worlds II and Red Faction came today. Haaaaaaappppppppppppyyyyyyyyyy.

Looks like I'll be playing Dead Island more than I thought this weekend. Two Worlds II is utter shit right now and I don't think I'll want to spend the whole weekend playing Red Faction.

Analog controls might take away that repetitive feeling. You might hate it at first like I did, but then it becomes easy and the game becomes a lot more fun. There's also an achievement tied to it.

So, I'm actually liking Red Faction: Armageddon so far. 15G from that, 20G from Two Worlds II.

I bought this twin sticks mech shooter called Gatling Gears the other week when it was 400 points down from the original 1200 so I started playing around with it today and it's actually a lot of fun. Some of the achievements look like they're going to be a pain in the arse but I do like a challenge so it should be fine.

Just got an email telling me Amazon have dispatched GoW3. Nice to know that it's on it's way, not so nice that I probably won't be able to play it until next weekend anyways.

Can't complain though since I paid for the game in July some time so it almost feels like im getting the game for free or something.

What's your beef with it? It's a huge improvement over the first game.

Never played the first game, but the combat in this is horrible, the voice acting was annoying, I don't know what the icons over to the left are when you look at something in your inventory, and I was just bored.

But I'm actually enjoying it now. After I found out how things in the inventory worked, I realized this game has some cool things, like the spell creator. Then I got past the intro (which was fairly long) and I got entertained for a while by all the different animals running around. The combat is still pretty bad, but I'm getting used to it now.

I get it on Tuesday, we should totally do co-op campaign!

I'm up for it, although I warn you that i'll only be online from around half 6 until 9 (GMT) every weekday due to "work".

Also, since I ordered the game with first class and it was dispatched at some point today, does that mean it should arrive on Monday at some point? Of course it won't arrive tomorrow since no post on Sundays and all that...

Have you ordered from Amazon before? They're really quick (at least in NA), so you should expect it on Monday, if not Tuesday.

It should be but I've had experiences personally where it arrived in about 3 days which has really pissed me off. usually I just stick to free because it's far easier and less expensive.

Oh, I didn't realize he used First Class shipping. haha, that was dumb. Regular always gets to me by the next day or two.

That works fine for me, I finish College at 5pm mostly.

It officially launches on Tuesday, though you may get it early, but you'd be lucky as that's pretty rare.

I've ordered from Amazon quite a few times before, just never pre-ordered anything.

I usually go with the free delivery but since I pre-ordered the game I wanted to make sure I got the game as soon as possible. Paying £2 extra didn't seem that bad.

Every game I pre-ordered from Gamestation always came the day before release.

In other news, I finished The Cartel today. Can't say I was unimpressed really, I can see myself playing through this game the 2 more times I need to with the other characters for the achievements.

Just tried multiplayer, which is actually really fun. It might be that I'm strangely good at it or everyone else is shit, but 54 - 24 on my first game seems good to me.

On 435G at the moment with 29/50 achievements and a total of 41,745G.

Anyway I'm off for a job trial run, later.

Gatling Gears is really quite fun, I don't know why people are so quick to dismiss all twin stick shooters. Nearly finished the campaign and fully upgraded my mech now.

I plan on playing till I'm level 50, then I'll be giving it back. got 565g from it at the moment.

So on Dead Island, Rootin' Tootin' Lootin' is going to be a pain in the ass. I have 4/5 exceptional weapons looted, and I spent a few hours in a party with malachi117, just kind of half-talking, half fast traveling around and constantly opening those chests. After a few hours of that, I had no luck finding the last weapon. Kind of a shame, because that, along with the achievement for playing 28 days after you start, and finding all the areas on the island are all I have left. And it glitched, saying that I have 72/72 on the one for finding all the areas, so I'm not entirely sure if I'll be able to get that one or not.

I've also got 4/5 exceptional weapons, but I still have 1 and a half playthroughs planned and another playthrough of act 1, so I think I'll manage to get it in that time without just running around searching for one. There is a way around getting There And Back Again if you're stuck at 72/72. Just check x360a or TrueAchievements and you should be able to find it. The Bloodbath Arena counts as a location, so if you want to wait for that, you can get it then.

Today I only played Two Worlds II and Red Faction. I probably would have played some Dead Island if my friend came online. I got 30G from Two Worlds II for completing the introduction and creating a potion. I got 115G from Red Faction, mostly from story progression.

Rumour has it the last area is the DLC, but who knows?

Scratch that, It's just ridiculously difficult to get it to not glitch. Fuck that, I'll stick with the others.

Finally got around to beating Dead Space 2, now to just find a day or two I can sit down to do Hardcore, as you can only save 3 times during it.

Anyways, Dead Space 2 725/1000

Planning to get the full 200G from Gatling Gears but completing all the levels on Hard is going to be a real pain even with a fully upgraded mech.

Guess I'll probably do some more CoJ today, though I might get on Vegas 2 for a while to see if I can get any quick achievements. Oh well, I'll be able to send it back and hopefully get Gears 3 if I'm insanely lucky.
