Same. I really enjoy playing Black Ops online with a friend, or party. Playing by yourself is really quite dull, and you never get to tell the story about how you a got a quad kill on Hanoi or whatever. I think most games in general are heightened by party play, simply because of the "Remember when..." factor.

I couldn't complete it for ages, I bought it back in September 2009 I think, and only completed it this February. When I finished the sort of tutorial part I never realised I had to go to Pala to do the faction missions, then I realised in October, but that was when New Vegas came out so I abandoned it for a few months then only picked it back up in February after having to start my game over again because it glitched and I couldn't progress.

But I still love it, though I understand what you mean when you say you couldn't get into it, I felt like that for a while, it's still worth giving another go though.

I was talking about the single player. I liked CoD4's multiplayer but at the time it was one of my first online games and I didn't have much to compare it to. It got boring once I prestige'd and an online game hasn't sucked me in since. I find Blops' multiplayer very dull no matter who I'm playing with. The only online games I seem to enjoy anymore are GTA4 and occasionally Bad Company 2, but my friends refuse to play BC2, which is frustrating. Hopefully Battlefield 3 can change all that.

I understand exactly what you mean, it's not the most engaging or fun game by a long shot and it does have a number of quite major flaws. Despite this I was quite enjoying it back when I started playing it nearly 2 years ago and I feel like I should at least play through the story line, especially after listening to these guys on the podcast talking about it and discussing what sound like a lot of good features.
I also feel somewhat obliged to finish it because I spent a lot of time in the first area going round exploring and collecting all the diamonds/tapes and some golden weapons so I've half set myself up for some of the big achievements that I really should continue with and get.

It wasn't that I wasn't enjoying it, it was just that at the time I had so many other games to play, it kind of got left behind. I still remember the quite advanced level building and the way the fire roamed across the dryland was quite spectacular. I might still buy that game back.

The thing is, I have a tendency to buy a game, play it a couple of times and then sell it, even though I, whilst playing, enjoyed it quite a bit.

I got mine from sitting there, thinking of a name. I was going to choose Rude-Awakening but it was taken so I just chose the food I was eating instead. It was steak and the legend was born.

I bought that Age of Booty game when it was on Deal of the Week last week and I started mucking about on it. Not the greatest of games but for 200MSP I can't complain.

Played some WaW zombies with 3 friends and got the remaining 2 achievements from the last map pack. (Der Riese or however you spell it)

Knive 40 zombies and upgrade 5 weapons. +50 I think.

Same here, I really can't be arsed leaving it on, I know you can just leave it on the Tour of Sour and let the time rack up so nothing gets ruined.

Slowly working my way through the remaining Red Dead achievements, still hoping to get 100% in the next few days. I've also been playing Left 4 Dead 2 trying to beat the expert campaigns while the Gib-Fest mutation is active because it gives everybody infinite ammo M60s which makes things much easier. So far I've done Dead Center and Dark Carnival with just the AI which would be completely impossible with the regular weapons but isn't that hard on Gib-Fest. I almost beat Hard Rain but it kicked me back into the menus on the 2nd last chapter which pissed me off. Definitely hoping to finish them off while the mutation is active so I've only got the next couple of days, might push to do it all today.

I just finished the Swamp Fever expert campaign. Definitely the hardest so far but only because of the finale which throws tanks at you like crazy and has a very long run to the escape boat. Having 2 tanks attacking at the same time seems to confuse the shit out of the AI and they run around like idiots instead of focusing their fire on either of them. The other 3 levels were pretty easy though and I don't think I had to restart on any of them.

Ooh so close to going up another rank. And I plan to buy Alan Wake tomorrow.

Finished The Parish. Wasn't too hard at all and the stupid bridge finale only took a few tries. Guess I got lucky with the tank spawns because I didn't encounter one at all until chapter 4 and as anyone who's played expert L4D knows the tanks are by far the biggest problem.
So now only Hard Rain stands between me and the achievement. It's not a particularly tough campaign, in fact a lot of guides suggest it's the easiest of them all, but there are a shitload of witches on a couple of the chapters which the AI are notorious for disturbing (which is basically an insta-death on expert) and the finale could be a bugger.

I don't have to sell my games ever again because I have a job now.
