I have that, but if I remember rightly, don't the achievements take a fair while to get? They're all along the lines of "kill 500 trolls" and such. Still, it's a fun enough game.

It's shit like Kill 100 Dwarves, Kill 100 Trolls, Play 100 matches as an Elf and shit. Then you have the achievements that are like kill 100 people with the pistol and minigun, mortally wound 100 people (make them bleed out with the katana).

Haha, yeah, they give no indication that what happens is going to happen. It's completely unexpected and random. They threw it in as a "twist" when it's really just stupid. There's no build up to it, it just happens.

But the story as a whole is what bothers me. The characters are so underdeveloped. I never hate my partner and I never like him, he's just there. There's also no story behind each case that connects anything until the last few cases of the game. I forgot Cole even had a family until more than halfway through the game. It could have been so much better.

Me and Four were having a discussion about this yesterday, what if we had 2 threads, 1 for discussion, and one for the leaderboard, and the leaderboard one always stays locked so there's just the 1 weekly post. But really, there's not much need for 2 threads when we have 1 perfectly good one filled to the brim with retards <3

Just finished Crackdown 2, grabbed about 200 gamerscore off it. The ending is pretty what.

There's really no point splitting this thread up, it works nicely the way it is and the recent discussion is much better than the deadness we've had in the past.
However it would be preferable if people kept spoilers to themselves. I guess it's not really a big deal for games that are way old but LA Noire hasn't even been out a week yet and Makeshift already half spoiled the ending.

Yeah I must agree, people really need to be a lot more careful when it comes to spoilers, discussion is fine, but it's a really risky area when discussing the ending.

I tihnk I'll sell L.A. Noire once I'm done with it, it's a lot of fun, but I need the money next month it's an expensive month (Duke, Download Festival, etc)
