i agree with this.. and honestly i think he needs to send them to any country with terrorists to actually be effective.. send 35000 BACK to iraq, send the 35000 to afghanistan still, 40-60000 to pakistan, (we'll have israel on our side too) and maybe even that amount to iran and saudi arabia maybe even korea. as of right now this isn't a war on terror. its not even a slap on the wrist to them. yeah i hate war and i wish it wasn't necessary. but al queida is fucking INSANE. this time war is a necesary evil. just like all of the other wars that the US fought. it sucks, but it needs to be done. yeah we'll have casualties, but seriously, if we dont do something now, imagine the future. the terrorists in places like Iran are close to getting nukes.. if we dont fight them off now and bite the bullet and get some of our soldiers killed, we're going to have a shit load of civilians and innocent people dead...

ill i going say is im 4 peace i worry about troubles inside america if iraq were even close to getting nukes they would be dominated most ppl forget its not that big of a county i think they just want us there to waste r time but i hope this ends soon

This was an absolute ludacris suggestion and action by our president, and if you think not, I wouldnt spit in you direction!

That was a civilized and mature way of disputing a matter of opinion. Also, it's spelt "ludicrous."

we had nothing to fear but secret bombs that IF detonated killed some troops that could be replaced by troops on ease until further notice.

On the other hand, leaving the troop count as it was could demoralize the military due to apparent "lack of support at home," and give insurgents the incentive to up the ante. And people would be bashing Obama for that, too - probably most of the same people that are bashing him for the surge.
