So I was helping my little sister with her geography homework and I had a rather interesting question of my own come to mind... Russia is on the Asian continent. Does that mean that Russian people are Asian people by definition?

If someone lives in Moscow or St Petersberg or anywhere west of the Ural moutian range than they're in Europe, East of that range is typically considered in Asia.

No.
In geography, Russia is inside the Asian continent, so Russians are Asian.

No, Prussia was pretty much Pre-Germany back in the 16-19th centuries.

Your all idiots, Russians live in the European portion and some where moved to the Eastern part (like Kazaghstan for example) the "Asians" are Siberians, read: Not Russians, there are a multitude of Races in Russia another being the Ossestians. So since Britain conquered India are the British also considered Asian? Since the French conquered Vietnam are they considered Asian? Since the Americans conquered Hawaii are they considered Asian? Since the Turks conquered Constantinople are they considered European?
You see thats why Russia is defined as a region in itself, in equivalence to South Asia, Southeast Asia, North America etc.

No, Prussia is ENTIRELY different. Prussia was the main German Empire, it is responsible for uniting the German states (if you seen a map they just look like a random set of dots in Central Europe) forming Germany. Confusing yes, but nevertheless what happened (although it is ironic since the original Prussia is now owned by Poland).

By definition, they are Asians, though Russian culture is largely influenced by Europe. Geographically, Russians are Asians, but culturally, Europeans.

The unofficial title is Eurasian. Usually I just refer to them as Eastern-European.

No. The Russian Empire started out in Europe, the people come from the Slav's, who originate in Eastern Europe.
