I felt that it was only fair to make a noob lounge (and I hope it goes right to hell). However, there are enough noobies in the forum lately that I felt that they should have a place to be annyoing and miss the point completely and at the same time, not annoy the piss out of me.
Enjoy... or not, I really don't care)

oh comeon man, its not nice to lie to the children.
Its like telling Freshman there's a pool on the 4th floor, when its just a 3 story building.

well, I'm still going to tell them about the pool 'cause we only have 10-12 at my old HS, so if you are so stupid that you can figure this one out from JHS, you deserve to get lost. At college, however, I have yet to find a pool at all.

Since we don't want to get locked, let's take a topic:
Should the US continue to be the worlds police officer? Honestly, I think after Iraq, we should stop. I don't want to keep send our boys to their deaths.

Not really a lounge thread, then, is it? We're happy for you to come into the Regulars thread if you like. To debate an issue, just make a thread about it.

Don't give me that shit BCC. The only reason the Regs stopped harassing me when I visted the "Regs Lounge" was casue TheShrike interviend and hinted he would lock to topic.

For the regulars lounge it is anyone with under 500 posts or hasnt posted at all in the poltics forum before but has more than 500 posts is not considered a regular and not suppposed to use the regulars lounge.

Well... you are supposed to be a bit regular... Triple figures posts is nice. Gooie could come in. Peopl like Phoenix_Guitariust, with his ~50 posts just need to give it a bit more time. When he, and you have been here a bit longer, test the waters and post in the Lounge.

On another note, you did post in the regulars lounge thread when you had less than 80 posts, so dont be offended if we did shun you. Use common sense.

I swear we've had a discussion like this before... on the Regulars lounge itself If I recall... What is this post counter ment to indicate... dose some mysterous phenominon occur when someone reaches 100 posts? do they suddenley gain 50 IQ points and can be considered smart enough to post there?
The point im really trying to get across is, there must be SOMTHING specal about the regs otherwise the they would not be permitted to have a devout topic of there own. I was assuming that in order to be a reg one must exsibit some charictaristic either born with or aquired thorugh discussion on this forum. however it seems kinda futile for one to become a member of this "group" casue the post alot of stuff.
Anyone with half a brain can grapple the consept that 10 well thought out and written posts... can easley beat 100 "BUSH SUKS!!!111oneoneone" posts.
yet under your system that guy is considers a superior member casue he has expressed his opion more... but not nececrley better that me.

Look, you just have to be regular. If you've got a good post count, and you've been here for a good 3-4 weeks, then we'll probably let you in fi you've got good posts.

Oh I assuer you sir I have been here a good 3 months of first 2 I never posted at all I just watched others discussions... I wanted to learn how you pepole think and discuss issues before I acted
Second of all I already pointed out I have no intrest in becoming a reg... it seems like a total farce in order to be popular with aload of pepole of which I shall never meet.
I am bringing these issues up because I fail to understand why the regs are given express treatment for no logical reason... and the entry requirements for becoming a Reg are totally pointless anb futile.

We aren't given express treatment, we just have a thread in which we post, because some of us have been in contact with each other for years. It's just a chat for people we know.

so i've been posting here for like about a month, i've only got 40-some posts, and i've been a level 2 forever. i have been called an idiot, a liar, a dumbass and a fag (sometimes in nicer words), but not a n00b. granted, i know that i still am, but i appreciate not bein labeled as one. i guess i just wanna express my gratitude for that, i figured this is probly the best place to do it.
i sound like a fuckin loser, i know.

Since I go into the marines Aug 20th, Lemme Give you my point of view.
After Iraq, We'll all just sit here with our thumbs up our asses until some crazy motherfucker decides to Superglue Nukes to Nascars, Goodyear blimps, Wendy's resteraunts, whatever.
and war'll break out again and we'll have to re-police the globe.
So I guess my anwser is, I dont think we have a choice but to Police the world. Cause if we dont, I dont think America will last long

Thats a bullshit statement. I didn't care about Depositing any points to my Account until I got into Voting on the Flash I was watching.
So there's probably some Level 0 Noob With as much experience as the fulps
