Whats the specific sound your trying to make?
The bass goes with the bass drum at 1:27 and no bass when there's snares to emphasize the snare.

I am not sure if you are talking about that low growling sound as far as the bass, but if you are...
That is definitely not a reese if we were classifying it. It sounds like something you would find in Toxic Biohazard. I can tell for sure it has a medium release and a short-medium attack. If it was a reese, it was really low with a strong low frequency. I'll see what I can reproduce.

I have found something extremely similar.
If you are using fruity loops, go to Toxic Biohazard and look for the preset Rumbling. Then I ripped the sound by recording it in edison (put a four beat long note and then export the file from FL as a wav., then take the wav and load it in a sampler), and then from the new sampler with the sound, go INS (instrument properties) and put the LFO attack all the way to left, and then increase LFO speed until it sounds the same rate as the song. It sounds almost exactly like the sound you are looking for. If anything, add a bit of distort and raise the volume.
