Not the best I've seen today
This could've been done with a bit more dedication.
It's rather bland in comparison to the other's I've seen.
But that's not to say it's in the wrong direction.

ZA? I am amazed by the very concept!
It sparks the imagination to wanna create a series based off transforming humans.
Though in retrospect, that's actually kinda creepy.
But I am amazed that one could imagine a transforming human in such a way.
You must be an avid Transformers fan.
I think Mindchamber will probably favorite this.
I especially loved how everything just looks like it works!
My only gripe was the semi-good animation.

I feel it borrows heavily from John Kricfalusi's original character...
"Powdered Toast Man"
In terms of character, humor, and fits of psychosis.
In fact, the introduction of the 2 children complaining about their meal...
Is also a beginning scene in the Toast mini-series that used to air.
Not to say that this character is original enough.
I'm just saying - I assume you got inspiration somewhere else.

It is quirky and creepy. Fun and Fearful.
A little man tries to get laid, and approaches it all the wrong ways.
But more so, I enjoyed the catchy beats.
The colors and backgrounds were dedicated with much effort.
I really enjoyed this flash more as a piece of art in motion.

It was just...too much for me to handle!
I am truly amazed by the stuff artist can come up with.
Just as long as I have a barf-bag handy.

I freaking hate it when shit like this happens. I prepared all week to screw my girlfriend once. Cock push ups and everything. We got into bed, and you pretty much know the rest ;) Benny Hill played in the background and everything. This deserves a 10 to me, but in comparison to other flashes on this list, it could have had better art. 9/10

It's animation is crudely drawn. Maybe that was the authors point, since this is, after all, a dream, BUT I did not enjoy it... That's about all that matters, unfortunately. I did laugh at the end and find the employment of subliminal messages to be creepy, so Kudos, but I can't relate with the way the dream appeared at all; however, this inspires me to someday make a flash based on my dreams ;) 8/10

This is skilled work but not to funny or creepy... Yeah it's animated beautifully. But where's the fun or excitement? No reason to watch this really unless you are learning to animate... Just CGI effects won't make a good movie- look at Matrix 3-, and neither does just awesome animation. Maybe I just didn't get it. lol 8/10

Wow! Watch it twice or more! There's a lot to see! Great use of bad and good art. Heavily animated and fun to watch. Great voice acting. The problem for me is it's so off the deep end of weird that I can't relate to it. But it is funny. The girls man voice, the images of food, feet lol, and FFB's and (bunny fu fu's) BFF's expressions. It's seriously great abstract humor. 9/10

Obviously, I can't really vote for my own submissions in this contest, however I would like to talk them up a bit for consiteration. I got three of my picks into this thread. All in the "twisted dark"
I am not a fan of straight out horror. My preference is for having a storyline and plot to it rather then crazy beings going wild and murdering in disturbing ways. If that's your thing then mine will likely not be your preferred choices.

Boy tries to go to sleep but there is a monster in the closet... You could cut the tension with a knife.
This is my favorite one. I'm a big fan of the 'monster under the bed' style scarefests. I would disagree that it's just a bunch of noises and stuff. It makes excellent use of tension. with the door just creaking open and the boy running to slam it shut and the monster is mostly hidden except for that big, red eye. The monster's voice is also suitably creepy and best of all, the little boy doesn't die. :)
Instead he is left alone to ponder what this monster is and his purpose. I think if the series was ever finished it would be quite good.

Spirit arrives... somewhere. Where IS he, exactly? Questions are pondered this philosophical submission.
I wouldn't say this is straight out horror so much as a philosophical drama with supernatural overtones. The idea isn't the non-existence of a god, but rather the inability for humans on Earth to physically comprehend concepts such as what a deity or an afterlife would precisely look like. The protagonist is simply seeing inside his own mind, and learns that he is still a living man fearing judgment. The voice speaking to him was none other than his subconscious self.
I think it's very deep and makes you think, which is why I submitted it.

man walks through a house of horrors. What's real? Everything is answered in the credits. A story told mainly through vivid imagery.
Again, it's the plot that had me decide to add this one. I love the idea of a machine that brings memories of someone with amnesia to life. We don't know he's in this machine induced dream until close to the end. Then the man goes back to his house and discoverers he was a murderer before he lost his memories. He then decided to end his life and then the credits roll with newspaper headings the discovery of his body and then his victims bodies and so on.

I collect flash animations the whole year though. It's large but I did writeups for them all so you will have an idea, at least, of what might appeal to you. Every single animation/game had less then 10k views when I submitted them. There are many, many deserving animations that don't get much attention so feel free to look them over and give their author's a review. :)
Collecting NG's undiscovered gems has been a hobby of mine since 2005. I am curently posting them on my blog.

The animation for King Pepe was very impressive. The song really sealed the deal in my opinion. I had difficulty understanding the plot, but it was an entertaining film, and most of the time these twisted flashes do not tend to amuse me. Congrats to all of the gems in this category and I'm looking forward to seeing what tomorrow has in store.

I can't decide between a few, so I'll just name them all in no order.
Zonked was an amazing movie, with effective and interesting visuals, a convincing soundtrack, and a story deserving of being in the twisted category. Maybe my favorite, but then I saw:
Hny (happy New Year!). It was probably the most disturbing of the twisted fun... it was disturbing as hell to watch and I liked it. It definately fit the "twisted" category the best, but did it have sandwiches that could walk? No, that fit:
The Traveling Sammich. T'was fluid, polished, and featured... was that a prawn? I don't know, but something was riding a sammich, and it intrigued me. I am a sucker for movies starting and ending on a relatively similar note.
Of the f*cked up (I'm sorry, "dark") gems, Soul Cream and Abortion were my favorite. What Soul Cream lacked in animation, it made up with dark, compelling dialogue... and what Abortion lacked in dialogue and diversity... it held it's own with atmosphere and warped animation.
Dentist and Soul Cream fit the "twisted dark" section the most, if that is the more important of the categories, but Soul Cream and Abortion were my favorites overall.
If I have to make a choice on the spot, I'd say Zonked for "fun" and Soul Cream for "dark."

A Sign Of Happiness has a weird atmosphere. Pretty good animation along with some ambient music and unrealistic happenings. When the song switches up I can't help but feel that there's an endless amount of possible things that could happen and therefor was a little disapointed when this flash ended so soon.

Dentist makes use of experimental audio and creepy environments. The author did a really good job at making it creepy, but then again could have done a lot better aswel. Especially the ending could have been made much creepier, but I'm not quite sure whether the artist actually intended to scare people. I feel that there should have been one or more ambient songs in this movie.
