What's to figure out? Grab some form of coloring tool and get to it!
The drawings are also very light. I would either edit it a bit to make them darker, or just go in and darken them up. You can also add a little more dynamic shadowing when doing that if you're trying to nail that comic book style.

Ive never really used a scanner before so i dont really know how to do anything you just said. But i'll work on it.

Do you have photoshop? Or hell even windows photo viewer has an edit option where you can darken a pic.

Neither coloring with pencils/markers and going in or darkening with a pencil require use of a scanner.
Not bad. Try some dynamic poses to help aid that composition, instead of just having them there standing. :)
Work on portraying their forms accurately, I think. Yes, darken them up and experiment with some colours.
I'd suggest drawing DC characters because DC is better :D!
