I just remember the book where everyone was throwing their trash in the lake and the big fish in the lake was super pissed about it, so Sister Bear cleaned it out and everyone lived happily ever after.

I never even knew they had a tv show. I just had a couple of the books which I never cared for but I remember looking at them when I was little.

If I were tied up, would you ring my bell?

Just a couple of weeks ago, for shits and giggles, I started watching the show On Demand, and they were waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more together in the tv show.

Amazingly enough, I do, and I even met the authors (Stan and Jan Berenstain) once at a Barnes and Noble book signing when I was extremely little.

God fucking damn it...

I remember those, and there was that one where they go to the haunted house and stuff.
I used to read that whenever I had to go to the doctor, he had a bunch of magazines and children books, that kicked ass.

Berenstein Bears were great stuff - my childhood wouldn't have been the same without it.

But of course, Hollywood's going to come mess it up with some stupid 3-D animated movie in a couple years, and it will become lost in the ever-increasing trash heap that is the good stuff of the 90s. We're already playing the taps for Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs...I'm afraid it's only a matter of time until the Bear family is next.

Why didn't Brother Bear Just Rape sister Bear?
I mean, a 13-14 Bear who lives in a hick town in a hick family, should openly rape their family members, right?

I remember doing a book report in kindergarten on one of those books. My teacher gave me an F for it because it wasn't "suitable book report material for a 5 year old." (I was actually 4 at the time, I think.)

What a bitch.

I remember the Sega Genesis game for the Berenstain Bears. I'd always play it with my sister.

My son watches the show, and I read him the books. I still have ones that I read him from when I was little.

looking good and dressing well is a necessity. having a purpose in life is not.

It always confused me as to why they did not have real names. Sister and Brother are too silly to call someone.
