NSMBWII'S super guide?
what about this is by far the worst offender because It says it there to help but if you save your screwed.
Miyamoto-sama innovates gaming, allows Nintendo to survive and even thrive again few years by bringing in a previously-untapped market of potential customers. He now hears the gamers complaining about these new "casuals", about how they're not learning anything about gaming, they're just fucking around and taking a title they do not deserve. He responds with a "Super Guide" system that has the "hardcore" gamers, who play for achievements and bragging rights rather than fun, screaming "BUT THEY NEED TO LEARN IT ON THEIR OWN! THIS IS OUR PASTIME, NOT THEIRS!" (ironic given that these "hardcores" may have been popular or jocks in their day, and their coming was treated the same way by nerds in 1996). And you complain about it being "cheating" and about penalizing players for using it. But you know what? He's Shigeru motherfucking Miyamoto, the man who saved gaming from its own asshole at least twice, with the astonishingly innovative Super Mario Bros. in the early 80s and with the less-"hardcore" more-accessible Wii and DS more recently. That man knows what he's doing, and for fuck's sake, he made The Legend of Zelda. I'm willing to go along with any mad scheme of his just for that, let alone a track record that makes him seem more than human.
