I was reading this, specificly:

Does anyone know what it will be moved to when 2012 turns out to be another fluke?

The world will end in 3 to 4 billion years, from either the Andromeda Galaxy hitting us or the Sun exploding. Whichever comes first. There's no reason to make up dates for other instances for it to occur. It's simply natural.
