Some people take the Bible and the words of preachers too literally. You know what happens when people take religion too literally? This. And if you think that's bad, this is politics, this is race and nation and ethnicity. Take things too seriously, and you turn from a decent human being into a madman or a complete monster, sometimes both. That woman is taking her faith too seriously, and homing in on the wrong aspects. She's a sinner too, ya know.
Anyway, I still don't get the jumps these fundamentalists sometimes make. I don't get how D&D makes you a Satanist. I've never played, but it's a bunch of people sitting around throwing dice and taking stats or whatever. Not too different from playing a video game. Do all video gamers go to Hell? Oh, is JRR Tolkien in Hell for writing books that contained non-Christian powers, prophecies, magic? Tolkien was Catholic too, so the fundamentalists probably put him in Hell just for that, and I'm considered the same for the same reason. Oh, and don't even get the fundies started on Shigeru Miyamoto! Super Mario Bros. 3 is for devil-worshipers! And have you ever played The Legend of Zelda? Magic everywhere, pagan deities, they're probably accusing Link of being a homosexual and Zelda of being a prostitute.
You can imagine the fundamentalists saying all that stuff, I bet. I'm sure that somewhere in the Midwest, a Baptist minister told his congregation some of those things last Sunday, and the next town over another is planning to say the same things this Sunday. Don't listen to the fundies. They're nuts.
