Okay, so I deleted a problematic Linux partition a while ago. Now I just restarted my computer to install some updates, and when it booted it said:

GRUB LOADING, PLEASE WAIT...
ERROR 22

When I Googled the issue I discovered that I need to change the boot manager back from grub to the windows boot manager. In order to do that, though, I need the Windows installation disk, which I don't have. Is there any way to fix it without the installation disk? (I'm on Vista)

I do have the Linux installation disk, still. If I reinstall Linux, will I be able to access Windows again?
Please help, I have important documents on that computer.

I forgot to mention that after it says ERROR 22 it just sits there and does nothing. It won't boot.

Since no one has replied yet, I'm going to go ahead and try reinstalling Linux. I really hope this works.

Thanks for all the help, guys. I really appreciate it.

My Ubuntu install failed, due to a scratched CD or something. I'm going to try to reinstall grub while booting off the disk. If you have any helpful input, it would be greatly appreciated.
