The H1N1 influenza strand has been recorded 3 times already in north america. Anyone who lived theough the 1976 outbreak need not worry about it this time because they are already equip with the emunities needed to stay healthy. Also, those people who lived through 1976, are probably your parents...and they are not infertal....cause your here...(what a shame...)
There are some health risks to getting the shot. Chances are if you get the shot you will be sick for a week. But if you are in the primary risk group, 1 week of feeling like crap is better then dying.
But if you are going to take you chances with the big bad flu, best thing to do, as with every other flu, WASH YOUR DAMN HANDS!

Just incase you were wondering, i do not work for any health orginzation, and i am NOT getting the flu shot this year :)

Actually the amount of mercury in the shot is relatively equivalent the amount you ingest when you eat a piece of fish. So, no it won't kill you, and yes you should get it if you can.

Get real. The mercury in it is "thimerasol." (approximately 49% mercury by weight, totally not mercury)

It's in all flu shots.
