makin a game, goin allong with the ideas of completely B&W, think of bg, im attempting a fast speed puzzle, exciting game.... any ideas for a BG for start menu... got no characters plotted yet but will get to it, so if your gonna say characters give some description... plz

So you want ideas for the start menus background? Ummm... I guess since your game is a "fast paced puzzle", You could have some puzzle pieces moving quickly around the screen. Oh... and add a bonus character who is made form a single piece of cheese. Cant wait, it will be awesome i bet.

Yeah, having the puzzle pieces in the background is a good idea. Be careful about moving them around TOO quickly, though, because remember than people need to read whatever is on the screen and that sort of thing can be distracting. You'd be better off having them move slowly. It will still convey the same idea, but make less people dizzy with too much going on. There will be plenty of time for speed in the actual game.
