Someone remixed my song!!

his username is ShootingStar. I uploaded the song yesterday and just today he remixed it? Don't you think that's the fastest timestrip between the original and the remix ever on NG?

Anyways, I just wanted you to check it out because it's the first time anyone has ever remixed anything belonging to an "unknown talented artist".

YOu get alot of those on NG. They are usually zerobombed because the scores get too high. That happens to me and shootingstar alot actually!

Sorry about deleting it guys, the score got wayy too low because it was attacked by a blam group.

It went form 4.55 -3.52, 28 votes, But just because it will officially be submitted after the remix now, It is still the original. It was therefore not made "after" the remix. Don't be fooled by the new audio listen number.

One thing you need to learn; a 3.52 is not low. a 2.52, now that is pretty low. You weren't attacked by a "ban group" because NG has basically outlawed them, even though it may seem like you are getting a lot of low votes.

It could also be because some of the people with songs towards the top of the genre listings got jealous or paranoid and voted it down. It happens all the time, there is no need to delete.

Don't care. That track is so old and outdated anyway. The melody is decent, but I didn't have the tools I wanted at that time.

Not entirely true, I've seen a few remixes of unknown tracks here. I alway make remixes but never release them, most of the time they're remixes of NG stuff. You only have to ask and I'll always be glad to make remixes. :3

Ive never tried to remix an unknowns track before or even a known artist... i have done covers but never remixes....
Since i dont feeel like making a thread or keeping this one alive -----IF YOU ARE AN UNKNOWN ARTIST SEND ME A LINK TO A SONG ALREADY IN THE AUDIO PORTAL (IN A PM) YOU WOULD WANT REMIXED BY ME...
i wont guarantee ill remix it .. ill basically choose the one i feel like remixing.
So try to send me something that has a solid drum beat and minimal melody and harmony. And please use your own judgment on which submission you think has the most to gain from a remix...

im simply doing this to get my remixing skills going and your song will be the first remix i have ever done. So please dont expect top quality from me.

If i choose your submission i will give you credit as the original creator in my comments when i post it in the AP.
