Someone I know said they were going to buy me an NG t shirt. Now they won't because NG doesn't do paypal shopping. So, no moneyz for NG and no t shirt for me. Sad faic.

So, I think it would be awesome if NG had paypal. Actually I'm not sure if any site outside ebay can have paypal. Still, then I would get my t shirt.

Yeah, it would be awesome if newgrounds could implement a pay pal feature. It'd be much easier to buy stuff in my case.

they used paypal before, but it wasn't going to work right with the new system. They know of the demand for it, but if you really want a NG store product and you absolutely cannot find a visa/mastercard you can send them a letter with a check or money order for the total and a note asking for what you want (and your shipping address).

Some day they might put paypal in again, just be patient.

The problem is not implementation, that would be extremely easy to do, it's the Paypal fees. Paypal would be taken anywhere from 5 - 10% of each transaction, so if you're spending $100, they're only getting $90, add on top of that the problems with paypal charge backs and fraud, it just isn't worth it for Newgrounds who already make little from purchases.

Personally I'd love to be able to buy with Paypal in the NG Store but they don't have it because of business, not they just can't be arsed to implement it, although maybe if there was enough interest they'd try it out :)

For the sake of backing up what I said, I can't find the exact quote (if I remember correctly) where liljim said it had nothing to do with implementation, it was paypal being money whores, I did find this though:
