Internet on the PS3!

Is much more accesible than I first imagined. The only problem is the amount it takes to navigate around each page and the time it takes to type. This post must have taken me a good 5 minutes to write up already! Do any of you guys use a console to surf on a regular basis?

I too, sometimes use my PSP for the internets. but not for NG. It takes too long. Google Images is the site I usually go on.

It has taken me a while to adjust but I am impressed by it if i'm being honest. The only reason why i'm using it is because my laptop is fucked and I need the to survive!

I am trying very hard not make any mistakes to be perfectly honest. However, if you guys quickly scan my previous posts there are a number of noticeable errors. I'm also taking advantage of the predictive text feture which has come in handy. Also, my thumb is starting to ache quite painfully!

I know you can get a keyboard for the Xbox, but I don't know about the ps3.

I figure you could probably hook a keyboard up to a ps3 through the usb port.

Yeah I have one. It's made by logitech and is Bluetooth. Amazingly, it also has a built in touch pad for mouse movement, and PS3 shortcuts.

I use my iphone when I'm desperate for the net which is often enough. Sometimes use the PS3 but so rarely because my laptop would usually always be on anyway and I'd prefer the faster connection it offers.

Got to love how using the PS3 online is totally free, no added cost which other loyal console owners seem to forget :)

It looks like common sense has saved the day! I was under the impression that you would have to forced into buying a special keyboard because it's not unlike big companies to cash in on any opportunity to make money!

I just punched my sister and stole his crappy Mac keyboard (onlt joking!) and now I am a very happy boy indeed! Who said Newgrounds was a bad place to come for advice?

I've only gone on it once but since I have a computer in the same room as my PStriple there's no reason to really use it's internet although it is cool.

I'm actually using the Wii internet now. Despite not being able to load big flash movies and awkward typing it does come in handy for when someone ( mentioning no names) puts a password on the computer >:(.

I used the internet all the time on my PsP.
it was a great way to look up porn without others knowing plus it was completely free (but after my neighbors were taken away i lost the connection and later my PsP broke)

Only to watch videos cause it's faster than my actual computer. But other than this, I try to avoid using it to navigate on the internet. Cause as you said it takes so much fucking time to type... But if you have one of those mini-keyboards than maybe it's easier.

You can also use a printer on it. I love my PS3, it does like, everything. It's pretty much a computer. In fact, it has more memory on its hard drive than the one on my computer. D:

It IS a computer.

I'm running Mac OS 10.2 on mine, I force booted it from a HD and it looks pretty nice at high resolutions.
