Windows 7 or Snow Leopard

Which to get I know both have thieir faults but im having trouble in my decision I really dont like vista so going from XP straight to something like vista would be kind of stupid.

Try to sway me into the right direction

They're practically the same thing now, just with different looks. I've used both, but I'm running 7 on this computer right now and I prefer it over Leopard just because I like the feel of Windows more.

Plus PCs are cheaper.

And no, 7 doesn't crash or any of the shit that's going to be thrown ITT. It's basically Vista done right.

Personally I use Snow Leopard. I just prefer the look, the usability. The fact it runs more efficiently and doesn't get viruses.

Yet I'm aware the huge set back is the compatibility issues, and that on the whole it isn't as fun as Windows.
But remember Mac OSx does allow you to boot up Windows and run it side by side with the Mac OSX or switch immediately between the two, (If you use Parallels software). So you can get over this issue.

But It's preference. And this is just my preferred way of doing things.

is this a serious question? 7 is the obvious choice, besides the facts that macs suck donkey balls, 7 is the best windows theyve made, and sofar, ive hear 0 complaints about it

I prefer snow leopard, seeing that I can simply partition the drive and install winxp and win7 through mac's nifty Bootcamp feature. That way I have both!

I am a fan of Windows. The customization negates any advantage Macs had in terms of hardware speced for media programs, and they're a lot cheaper to boot.

But I'm sure there's plenty of things that Macs can do better that PCs, right?

^^ whoops, my bad, Snow Leopard only sells for $30, whereas Win7 sells for up to $200, so really it's up to personal preference and what kind of computer you own.

also I still dont see any difference between windows 7 and snow leapard, both of which could obviously be better, but I prefer to stick with XP while im still good with it.

no one has to upgrade if they dont want to.

Go with Snow leopard. As both are solid upgrades to the OS's you might be running, I think Snow leopard great for a low price.

College kids can get win7 for $30 as well, but it only lasts until december and it's the most gimped version of 7. Why Microsoft has to create so many versions of the exact same product boggles me. ^^ IMO man you'd be better off upgrading to Vista for now, it's very stable and stylish, and besides im starting to find out that not many programs are downloadable for Win7.

I have seen alot of recent commercials for windows 7, and had alot of doubts for myself.

Windows 7 is excelent for non mac pc.

Its stable, at least more than Windows 7. And if you have a Mac with Leopard on it, Snow Leopard actually frees up memory.
