of any good video tutorials for making variables, scores, levels and saves in Flash AS2?

and does anyone know of a website tht teaches you everything about how to write AS2?

I only know simple codes.

Variables, score's are basically just variables that are displayed in a Text Field.
It really depends what type of game the levels are for but hitTests/collisions are pretty much vital.
Here's a tutorial on Saving & Loading.

And if you want to learn any thing else then look here first:
Basic & Intermediate AS2 (at bottom of page) & Advances AS2

In addition to Nayhan's post, and more specifically, with AS: Main a good place to start if you are really really a beginner is AS: Beginning by Rustygames and then go through some more in the basic sections depending on what tickles your fancy.

Thanks guys, i appreciate the help :D The references help me a little bit, but i'm trying to understand how to code it from head ya know...don't really just want to copy/paste. I want to be able to think of what I need and be able to write it. I don't understand what any of these word/code means lol.
