I can see homework is a stressful thing. It doesn't have to be though. Set aside time each day, and do it somewhere peaceful that helps you relax. I find my own room is the best place. I don't recommend listening to music as you work though, as that can cause your mind to wander. Seeing as you're likely going to be near the end of your compulsory time, you can go when you're done.
Not doing homework is a bad idea as well. The idea behind homework is that it enforces what you have learned in school. It's entirely related to what you're doing in school. You might be smart, but if you don't reinforce what you're learning, you'll discover you're on the social scrapheap. It's like learning a language, and then going to a different country. It negates all the reasoning for doing it in the first place (and yes I know that was a terrible analogy).
Do your homework, but if it really is stressing you out that much, tell someone. Only do what you have to do for your homework - the bare minimum is all you need.
