I think your animation skills would grow much faster if you joined an animation community, rather than just a stick community. I mean, you don't see yourselves animating sticks your whole life do you?

true... i think i will probably join both.. i actually like sticks so that's why :P but i need to get some skills in actually drawing and animating. Actually, i can draw quite good, but i need a tablet. Maybe i'll buy one. Can you suggest a friendly animating community? Maybe with tutorials and just guys willing to help in general?

Ah okay, for any drawing tips, both deviant art and especially ConceptArt.org have loads of great tutorials and information. As for a tablet, it helps, but you CAN animate by hand as well if you can't afford a tablet at the moment. You just need pencil and paper, you can use the window as a lightbox and a scanner at a library. Sorry, I don't know any stick animating communities, but I'm sure there's one or two out there. Check the C&C forums here. Good luck on your journey to become an animator!

Here would probably be your best bet for a stick community.

They are pretty helpful and can lend you tips with a lot of different programs. There are also some pretty good tutorials from members and outside sources alike.

Happy sticking.

I think there might be I site like Stick Figure Death Theatre. Don't know how good of a site it is though. It's URL might be like SFDT.com or something.

Shiftlimits will always have good critisism. But when i joined all the people were total douchbags. But they will help you improve. Newgrounds is good also, as long as you work hard on your stuff you will get good C&C
