Any major fans of the Call of Duty series should reconize that date anywhere, anytime. Yup, it's the release date for CoD: Modern warfare2 and shits gonna happen.

I have to go to school unfortunitly T.T But, as soon as i get home... Let the lulz commence!

Time waits for no Man... But Jades penis is waiting for everybody <3

Why would I skip school for a shitty, generic game?

You make no sense to me.

My PSN ID is xscoot. Crazy, huh?

I was gonna stay home so I can pick up my copy, but fuck it. I'll get it on my way home and have the night and Wednesday off to play it.

I love Call of Duty to death, but that's no reason to skip school.

Really, if you do, you're a dumbass.

Nah. I wasn't that hyped about it until the buzz started around my school, and we spent the whole of maths talking about it with our teacher. Despite the fact that I don't think it will be as much fun as other games such as Uncharted 2 and Arkham Asylum, or as original, but I'm sure that I'll enjoy it massively, and will be getting driven straight to my nearest GAME store on release day after school to get it. I have my preorder, but I'm a little bit upset over the whole dedicated servers thing on PC, since that's my platform.
Plus, on release day, I have maths, so we'll just be talking about that and we'll all be hyped. There'll be a guy with a sign saying released today (he's worn a countdown sign for the past week on his chest), it'll be very exciting. The game might not be revolutionary but it will be very enjoyable, and the hype is very exciting to get eaten up in. So no, because then I wouldn't be able to experience the release day hype. Plus, I need my education.

I'll be going to school as normal because I value my education more than the fact i'll be able to play a video gane a few hours earlier.

I fail to see any reason why I shouldn't go to school on that day. Raging Blast won't come out until the 13th.

I like the series, but no. I'm going to school, because there's no reason not to. The game is good, but it's overhyped. It will not be the second coming of the Messiah - people make the mistake of going into that mentality.

Come on now, there's no reason to skip school for a video game. I'm considered a "hardcore gamer", and I don't even stay home to play a game. It's not like I won't be able to play it after school.

Raging Blast comes out the same day as MW2 here.

Also, Veterans day is the 10th? I have school on Tuesday =/
Also, it's probably not a coincidence that it's Veterans day while an army game comes out.

Veteran's Day is November 11, not the 10th.

They just wanted to release the game on 11/10/09 because it's an easy date to remember. In other words, you're not going to forget when it comes out, so even the casual consumer is going to buy it at launch.

I have never skipped school just to go buy a video game. You do realize that you have all of that time after school on the weekend to play if you wish, right? Unless you are one of the cool kids who likes to brag that you were the first person to play a game.

besides the thousands of people who were able to buy it early.
