Anyone else listen to explosions in the sky? I've just recently come across them and they are truly incredible. I play the drums, and the things the drummer does in this band is just plain nuts. If you haven't listened to them already, I highly recommend it. Here's my favorite song of theirs

Old as shit band. If you just recently heard of them you should do yourself a favor and just stop listening to music.

Excuse me? Sorry that I don't keep records of bands that come out every year. They've only been around for like 10 years or so. I find bands that I never heard of from like the 60s or 70s man. I'm just starting to listen to different genres right now, so sorry that I didn't know of them when I was 7. What the fuck.

If you like explosions, you should check out Mogwai, God is an Astronaut, and 65daysofstatic.
Post-rock is the best genre.

I wouldn't really recommend them for someone just getting into the genre... but "Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven" is one of the greatest albums ever made.
