Saints Row 1 Respect

This is my first time playing this game because I've been working on GTA4 And GTA TBOGT & TLAD. So my friend let me borrow this game and I was wondering..

What's the easiest way to earn respect? I just want to play the missions. But I keep having to do activities but they piss me off. Halp.

Just do the drug running missions. all of them; you should get like 30 to 50 respect. Snatching hos and buy really good clothes also help.

All you really have to do is grind out one set of activities, and you'll be set for respect for most of the game. Just before you do that, buy a bunch of purple clothes, it'll raise your respect bonus considerably.

Grind the activities until you reach x40 respect. Once you hit it, you have infinite respect. It makes the story a lot more enjoyable. Also, here's the order I recommend you do the gangs:

Vice Kings
Westside Rollerz
Los Carnales

If you leave the Carnales to the end, you'll be able to blow through them more easily. Oh, and make sure to buy clothes, etc. as they help your respect out too. The Drug Trafficking gives good respect, as you kill lots of cops too, which all adds to respect.

Ambulance chaser is also good fun but is not a great way to boost respect. Easiest way when starting is to buy clothing.

The ironic thing about ultor is that they're in Red Faction as the same shitty corrupt company. If you played the DLC for saints row 2; your guy says "Ultor can go to Mars for all I care." and the prototype mining equipment you find in the tunnel. Pretty funny shit...
