L4D2 Thoughts

I'm unsure, it seems more cartoony. It looks more vibrant to me. I still don't like that 4 hit melee block but the Frying pan kind of makes up for that.

There's less zombies in the horde, defenatly, but the graphics themselves. I think there too bright for the whole zombie theme. Take the spitters for example, the acid is poorly rendered, and it looks... Vibrant.

Less Dark (to me taking away that 'Holy S*** Run factor').

Also the witch can take much less in terms of firepower. We killed her with nothing but Deagles ffs on expert.

Ehh. I'm going to play through it again, but i'm feeling sceptical on the purchase. The zombies are more responsive, making me a lil' less influential to be sneaky.

There will be no swearing in my thread :)

Well on XBL all my friends downloaded the demo and were like: "Wow this sucks dick!" so I just didn't download it.

Might rent it though..

Please note that the dedicated servers are laggy for the moment. So Valve have kindly given us the option to choose Local Host, so we can host the games. It works laglessly, as long as you and your pals have a good connection to each other.

Yeah, they were complaining about the lag. And I said "Yeah, it's a demo, not the full game. Just chill the fuck out and wait for the real game to come out."

i really didn't like the demo at first. I was disappointed.

But then I played on live and was having fun, even though there was lag.

I just got Left 4 Dead for PC :)

I have the demo downloading on the Xbox right now. I've briefly played my friends Steam version of the demo. It's seems like quite a decent game. I though it had quite a different feel from the first one, making it worthy of being a new game rather than an add-on to the original.

You've basically said;

"after playing 2 parts out of a possible 25 parts in a game demo, all levels in L4D2 are going to be bright and that makes me not want to buy the game".

Seriously, what about the level DARK CARNIVAL?
That sounds awesome. And I'm pretty sure there's one in a mall.
The demo gave us 2 parts to one of 5 campaigns.

I kind of like the small change, actually. Unless they somehow have daylight in every campaign.
