As easy as one might think, jailbreaking ipod touch 2g 16gb in itunes 9 has actually been a pain in the ass. I still havent achieved my goal. Quickpwn doesn't work, as the ipsw files are 'not compatible with the current iPod'. The one click jailbreak has been taken off the net.
Any help?

You're probably trying to use the 2.2.1 ipsw files with the version 3.0 software, that's why.

And are you using the correct version of the jailbreak software? I've not jailbroken my itouch so I've got no experience with this, and I'd assume the software would detect your version, but I have no idea so it's worth mentioning.

Don't jailbreak. My friend did and his iPod got fucked. So if you're going to, just be aware of the risk you're taking.
