It's finally coming to North America. The Ed,Edd,and Eddy movie. Been waiting for ever since I learned it only came out in the U.K. and it's finally here. I'm glad I no longer have to scourge the bottom of Youtube to find shitty quality clips. I hope it's as good as I've been hoping. ^_^

This is like the 4th Ed thread I've seen in the last few hours. Maybe you guys can shed some light on a question that's been bouncing around in my cranium: What is it with this show? I remember it, it was horrible. Poor animation, character design like they were drawn by an 8th grade Parkinson's patient, no coherent plot episode to episode, it's one dog and bird away from being yet another Peanuts rip off, and worst of all it came from the "stupid era" also known as the '90s. Why do you like that show? It doesn't even have camp appeal, and you guys act like it's a cult classic.

The movie is not very good, it's typical Ed, Edd and Eddy. I mean it has some seriously funny as shit moments but outside of that it's more of a mindfuck than anything else.

Yes you get to see his brother but I'm going to lay this out on you guys now. (I torrented it a loooong while back so I kinda already saw it) Anyways..

You see his brother in the LITERAL last 5 mins of the movie. He's not a main chararter, and has a few lines. Yes he ends up being a dickfuck, but we all expected that anyways. The movie is a B-B+ at beast.

That's what I expected of it. Nothing can compare to the show's older episodes. They pretty much ruined it when they introduced the school.

I'll have to disagree with you there. I thought it was fine with the school. change of scenery for once ( they had to long of a summer vacation ).

The movie is fantastic. I wish they had put it in theaters.

um...yeah. like I said before I grow tired of staring at this tiny ass computer screen that can't handle full-screen so I have to see the video in that shitty youtube format that makes the screen even smaller. I would much rather see it on this moderately sized T.V. that was made for this kind of thing.

And to answer your question Jamoke. I think it is mostly nostalgia that is it's biggest appeal. I mean, come on. Who doesn't reminisce about the good old pre-pubescent days of hanging out with old friends and doing wacky things like playing in a creek or ding dong ditch? Roaming around your old neighborhood and just being a kid? The age of innocence. Or as I like to call it. The age before being introduced to the internet. I think that's what Ed,Edd,and Eddy has to bring to the plate. It reminds us all of the days we were just kids being kids. doing the things we miss doing now. Old friends, good times.
