So i got home yesterday, after having an already shit day, and i found my $1200 guitar lying in the middle of the room with its neck snapped in half. I swear i had never been so angry in my life. My mother said the wind probably knocked it over, but i know there was no way that could of happened because my stand has a guard on it to stop it doing so.
So NG, has anything like this ever happened to you?

I actually did have something similar to this happen to me.
You see, I came home after having a considerably terrible day. Upon entering my room, I quickly noticed my $1199 guitar lying in the middle of the floor with its neck broken in two. I've never been angrier in my entire life.
I inquired my mother about my guitar, and she stated it must have been the wind that knocked it over, but I know this to be false; my guitar stand had a guard made specifically to stop this from happening.
Very frustrating.

How does a guitar simply falling off its stand snap its neck it half? Someone obviously broke it.
You shouldn't be wasting time posting about it, you should be finding the asshole who did this injustice. Your mother is definitely in on it. Start by nailing her hands to a table and if she still refuses a confession, rape her.

Jesus christ, it's just a guitar. You can achieve happiness without it, and if you can't then you are a sad human.

I had a somewhat similar situation.
You see, I came home after having a regular day. Upon entering my room, I noticed my $1198 guitar lying in the middle of the floor with it's neck broken in two. I've never been so pissed off.
I asked my mother about my guitar, and she stated it must have been the wind that knocked it over, but I know that's not true; my guitar stand had a guard made specifically to stop this from happening.
So frustrating.

To everyone that thinks he's being silly, when you're a guitarist, your guitar is like a part of you. If that happened to me I'd probably burst into tears.

No. Dear god what a load of crap. I play guitar, and the only attachment I feel to my instrument is a physical one. Your guitar is just a thing, it's just a block of wood, sometimes with electronic crap in it. There's others out there.

Actually something like this did happen to me.
I woke up this morning only to find that my Magnus chord organ had been moved slightly. I thought nothing of it want just moved it back into place. Later that night, I tried turning only to find that it won't work. Upon further examination, I noticed the wiring had been knocked out of place. Keep in mind this thing is at most 50 years old.
Anyway, I will attempt to fix it later. I am simply too fatigued to do anything about it right now. Later days!

I actually did have something vaguely similar to this happen.
Visualize this yourself: I returned to my dormitory after having a fairly favorable day of classes. Upon not only opening, but also closing my door did I notice that my pan flute had somehow been placed atop my cabinets. I have never been so frustrated in all my days.
I quickly telephoned my mother in order to inquire about my flute, and she reveled to me that it must have been the wind what knocked it from its usual spot under my bed to the top of the cabinet; however I know this to be quite the fallacy as my flute box has four corners and a lid specifically made to stop this from happening.
Quite the conundrum.

I had something like that happen to me last week.
You see, I came home from an excellent day. Upon entering my room, I discovered my accordian on my chair, when it should have been in my closet. I was so pissed that I got a boner.
I went to ask my mother, and she said it must've been the wind that moved it, but I know that's not true; it was in my closet, where wind can't reach it.

rule #1 to being a guitarist: play a guitar you are not afraid to drop, because it will happen.

Don't agree with him. He's banned for backseat modding.
Do not PM me asking about the project known as "Iron Fist." There is no such project.
