How many people here know what burning man is, out of curiosity. I realize today I can't find anyone posting about it here at all!?!?! Are there really that many awesome people, creative geniuses, and intelligent beings out here, but not a single BURNER!?!?
Where'd you camp last year!?! I camped with "Romulox and the 3 Domes!" and DeMaTerial the years before! Here's our camp picture too! I accosted a proffesional photographer, lost in a dust storm, and traded him directions for his skills! :-)

To be perfectly honest, all of you people who think its a bunch of one type of music, or one type of person, are really out of touch!

You can grab some down under country fun, have coffee with a turkish infantryman, join a workshop on jujitsu, and then participate in a 30,000 strong battle with lightsabers in an epic recreation of the war vs good and evil! (the jedi war was year before last actually, and ended up in everyone rallying together and assaulting the center camp...)

Les Claypool's fictitious band, Electric Apricot, wrote a song about Burning Man an a fake documentary sort of film. AAfter watching it my friends who attend a lot of festivals started telling me about it and I think it sounds like so much fun. I've only been to one before 10k lakes fest in Minnesota, I know Burning Man would trump that.

Again, I have to reiterate, that people like this are uneducated. This fellow has no urge to be friendly with other people. People like this have no place at Burning Man simply because he thinks of robbing people and sodomizing men without permission.
I don't really care what people think if they haven't been there before, but I feel it is important that people not be influenced on any topic by someone who obviously doesn't know what he is talking about.
I have been to burning man, several years now, and I will tell you with confidence that even though there are drug users tripping in the desert, there are drug users tripping in their living room, outside in the park, and probably several on Newgrounds too.
As for this poor idiot, Strength, he actually thinks there'll be a yard. He doesn't even realize that with +40,000 people there are camps, free bars, and art and interactive events around every corner! I think if you want to learn about burning man, don't watch so much malcom in the middle, and buy your ticket so you can stop making yourself look dumb already.

Even though there may be a simple representation of a man, the main burn has evolved into a pyrotechnics display of a great quality. Let me show you a picture! Its not going on in this one, but the structure itself burned for about 2 or 3 hours. During this time, very well coordinated fireworks displays, real elaborate spectacles designed by the best minds in the industry, are booming in synchronized rythym with let burning of the man and structure.
