I got a referral yesterday in school and have to go to Saturday school tomorrow. The reason I got it was fucking retarded in the first place, I turn on the TV in the classroom since that always bugs the teacher and we do it for the hell of it. So my mom gets the message they sent and they get all pissed off and say they want to send me to some sort of special school. Are you fucking kidding me? They expect me to be perfect and get straight A's and everything. I can't stand this shit.

My dad does fuck nothing all day apart from sleep drink and fuck, he lives off the money my mom earned when she was alive , he doesnt give a shit about me or my intrests and he all around sucks, i still have to show respect and so should you , you ungrateful shite pile

This is why I'm glad that my parents leaned more towards raising me to be responsible and appreciative rather than perfect grade-wise.

But on topic I'm guessing the best thing for you to do is to go along with it, apologize, and just keep in line until you're away at college. Or, if your parents have a soft spot you can try to reason with them; but if they don't why make things worse?

While this is all true, wanting to send your kid to a special private school or whatever because he got ONE referral is also kind of dumb. They could be like normal parents and just tell their kid not to get caught doing stupid shit, or like tell him that he can't do shit for the weekend because of it, or something less extreme than pulling him out of school and sending him to like military school or something so he straightens up and doesn't turn on the TV to annoy people.

I really don't see why a silly referral would cause your family to think your fucked up enough to be sent to a 'special' school.

I think families who expect their child to get straight A's is ridiculous and sometimes quite difficult to accomplish. It's easy to get B's and C's and hopefully that's what you get.
