Neighbors are whining idiots

Ok, my neighbors are starting to piss me off. I play my music through a stereo really loud almost every day. I have been doing this for 2+ years. Now, all of a sudden they are complaining to us claiming the wife has migraine headaches and is studying for some type of MD degree. Seeing as how the noise ordinance only mandates silence from the hours of 10 pm to 8 am, I am not obligated to cooperate.

So, Newgrounds, should I be a nice neighbor and respect their wishes, or should I be an ass hole and turn it up even louder?

Get earphones or headphones so you can listen as loud as you want and not disturb anyone else.
If you're not willing to invest in headphones or earphones then turn the volume down.

What's reasonable though? It's the middle of the day, and their son has awoken me at 9 am playing basketball right next to my room. I'm on the second floor by the way. I just think their complaint is outrageous. The first time they complained, I stopped playing the music full blast, so I think I have compromised enough. Wouldn't you agree?

Respect your elders man. If they kindly request you to turn Your music down after putting up with it for 2 years, then you should.

The music is for your enjoyment, not theirs as well. So I would respect their wishes and buy headphones if volume is an issue to you.

Is it worth all of this? How horrible is it to turn down your radio if they ask you to? You just hang up the phone, turn a little nob or hit a button on a remote a few times, and then just go about your buissness. No one gets angry, no one bitches about you being inconsiderate, everyone lives happily ever after.

I hate people like you. It's not like he's complaining because it's a lot of fucking work to turn down the volume, he is complaining because he shouldn't have to turn down the fucking volume if he likes it loud.

Turn it on full blast, and if they ask again or something, then tell them to tell their kid shouldn't be allowed to play basketball unless it's foam padded, in a soundproof room because it wakes you up, and exaggerate any other things they do loud.

But that's just if they asked you to turn it down like an ass, if they politely did, then just turn it down.

I feel like it would be courteous of you to turn down the music at least a little bit if the volume is truly affecting your neighbors.

While it may seem odd that they are just complaining now after 2 years or so of you doing this, that really may be the case. Then again, the wife might have just recently starting having the headaches and your music is the easiest thing to target, so that might be what they're doing.

I would suggest looking into it before you do anything rash.
