Photoflash?

Hey there! Can somebody please tell me how you can animate madness cartoons with Adobe Photoshop CS3 Professional? See, I don't have flash but I do have photoshop and I was wanting to make a madness cartoon so.... yeah. Any answers?

Well as far as I know, you can't make animations on photoshop.
If you did decide to make an animation it would be good to see something other then madness.
There are a few other animating programs out there that can export in .swf, I'm not sure if there are any free one's though.

Well, I also have Adobe Bridge, Adobe GoLive, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign and Adobe Version Cue. I just don't have flash! Dammit! Well... can you animate it with these programs?

Liveswif is a free animating program that exports in .swf.

All those are useless for animation , just get flash , its well worth it and trumps the others with flexibilty , its the only one in my suite i really give a fuck about.

Nope. You have to pay for flash, you can get the 30 day trial version from Adobe's website if you want to see what flash is capable of.
If you just want to make animations, then I suggest that you try this.

I must admit, pencil is good. You reckon you can tell me how to put in sprites and how to upload on newgrounds?

When you are done with your animation, open it up with pencil, click on File>Export>FLASH/SWF
Doing this will export your animation to an 'SWF' file, which you can upload to newgrounds.
To import graphics in pencil, click on Edit>Import Image, but I really recommend that you make your own art in it except for using sprites. Because pencil is a 'traditional animation software', it will delete the content of the previous frame when you add a new frame. If you have any more questions then you can ask them on the Pencil Forums.

Alas. Another problem. When I uploaded my test submission for pencil, it was just a blank white screen. What up? Also, how you put NG preloader in it?

Newgrounds Preloader = Flash preloader
Flash =/= Pencil

Its a white screen because it takes some time to load the animation, I cant think of any other reason.
You cant put the preloader in it because pencil does not support any script.
