So, a lot of you who know me know that I am an indy-pro wrestler, right?

Well I'll admit things aren't erally going according to plan. Like in a way they are but in another way it's not.

Let me tell you whats been going on. So early in May I was 185. I had no job, my girlfriend dumped me, and my father kicked me out of the house. So I asked my friends if I could move in with them. Being homeless in Denver is a bitch, I wouldn't survive.

So of all people, my asian friend took me in, knowing that I didnt have money or a job. He knew that I was there to survive. However, he didn't know what it meant when I said I was there to survive until I got a job.

A lot of poeple know that these times are harsh for the economy. I been looking for over a year and a half for a job, and still cant land one. I've practically looked all over the main city, I've travelled a 30 mile radius looking for work and cant find a single job. It's bullshit! It's like I have to go out of state to look for a job now.

Anyway, I didn't want to be a mooch but I couldn't live out there on the streets. But my friend, or former friend, was so selfish with his money. He's all talkin about how he wants me to survive too and be fit for my wrsetling career, but then he does the complete opposite.

There was no food in the place. And he was always buying fast food. I was literally starving. Four months I spent at his place and I lost 30 pounds. I was 155 when I left for a new roommate.

This is where I said it could be good. It was a new opportunity cause at 185 I was kinda fat. Not too fat but I didn't have a good 6-pack as I do now. But if I want to be a wrestler I want to go up in weight.

There is a cruiserweight championship title shot coming up in a few months, and I'm hoping to get to 170 by then. However, this is the part where I say its bad. I'm trying to work out, I'm trying to gain muscle weight, but this past month I been working out, I dropped to 145. I'm still losing! And I'm not starving anymore, and I'm doing oddjobs. What the hell am I doing wrong?

My fellow wrestler suggested roids. Not too much, but maybe taking them for 2 months and that should get me to my desired weight. Protein shakes arent working, working out every day isnt working,....

What can I do? Or rather, what should I do? Should I go for it, being that I'm ONLY taking them for 2 months? I mean, I know it's cheating but I want that title.

I don't know much about weight loss/gain for wrestling, but I don't think you should do the steriods at any cost!

It seems like you know you shouldn't, so don't.

If you want to shrink your balls and cheat to defeat everyone who worked harder than you, then be my guest.
Just remember that they all worked hard (except for the others who used steroids) and it's not really fair that some dick taking steroids will win. Try your best, and if you win, then you deserved it.

Wait how come this went from being persistent on finding any job to specifically being a pro wrestler?

Are you still looking to support yourself or living with your friends who are helping you to survive and for you to achieve something in wrestling?

I see you want to be something in wrestling but are you too focused on this over getting a job?

So many questions, but really what are you aiming for?

You're probably right about that. But I dunno how the hell I'm gonna gain 25 pounds in 12 weeks. This is the heardest shit I've had to do. It's effecting me when we spar, like I can't lift someone who's 195 over my head like I used to. And my opponent next month is a good 210.

Beat your friend up, then start eating a bunch of fast food a day. You should get some weight from that.

roids dont work as after you're done taking them the muscle turns into fat, at least i heard but that could just be some propaganda bullshit.

ive also heard that specific types of work outs build muscle bigger, as apposed to just strengthening them, idk how ever as i heard that back in my druggie days.

hope that helps, i only worked out for a year or so and i dont remember it too well

the more you hate it, the stronger it gets

Probably. Perhaps I should just get a personal trainer?

And as to the other guy's question, I'm doing odd jobs. It's not enough to pay the bills exactly but it's enough to survive. I'm still looking for a job but at this point it's ok.

I saw this ad that I couldn't help but appreciate: "FA*E - Use steroids. Get caught. Become one." (The asterisk had a very quaint "K" hidden in it.)

I suggest upping the protein in your diet. Not protein shakes, but your actual food intake - more meat, fish, eggs, etc. The food has extra nutrients to help build muscle that the shake probably doesn't. Keep enough carbs in there so your body isn't just digesting the protein the minute it hits your stomach, but of course go easy on the raw sugars to avoid fat buildup; and eat plenty of fiber to keep the lower digestive tract working properly (I hear pistachios are a great fiber source, as are avocados). Drinking more water might help too, if you don't do that already - if for no other reason than detoxing the body.

But I think the best advice I can give is to ask a dietitian or your doctor. I understand you're not made of money, but in this case it really is best to consult the professionals. I'm really not one to talk - I drink roughly four cans of diet soda every day. :P

You're probably right though. With the food thing. I been wondering why the protein shakes arent working. I also just got a PM telling me I need Whey protein shakes . . . thats probably it too I been getting the cheap shit.

Thanks. I never thought I'd get this advice on Newgrounds, honestly lol

Stop eating babies they are full of fats. Just drink water, Chew gum and eat toast. Or give your willpower the ultimate text by buying some handcuffs and lock yourself to a radiator or something of equal strength and give the key to someone and ask them to leave and come back in 24 hours. If you pass you are a man.

If you're trying to gain weight and you aren't then the solution is to EAT MORE FOOD.

Also, have you considered just wrestling in a lower weight class?
