Drugs?

Yea...alot of talk about it, people do it because they think its SO REBELLIOUS and act like their cool. In my school like 60% of kids smoke weed acting like their the coolest in the world but later by the time their 25 realizing how much of a douche they were. I don't really approve of it...

My friends tried to talk me into it, i keep trying to think of excuses. My good friends that smoke weed dont ask me since they know im not like that.

What do you guys think? Drugs-Good? Bad? Matters?

i think that drugs are just drugs. yes, they could kill, you, but on the other hand, some of the most succesfull people in the world have been heavy drug users

to be honest, i couldnt care less who does drugs and who doesnt, but when people start saying drugs destroy lives and are totally detrimental, i have to step in and tell the to shut the fuck up, because not all drug users detroy their lives, only the people who abuse the substances do. and those people usually have a very adictive nature anyway.

Some people shouldn't use drugs period, they are just natural assholes and douche bags.
But you probably fail to see the majority of what a true pot head is. Also keep in mind weed smoking for the majority is a culture, something you'd have to be apart of to understand. Think about it, legalize marijuana, we would get out of debt. Not only that by just legalizing it the government would save enough money in a year to give everyone free health care. Also then it would be more regulated, and less available for youngsters, I mean face it drug dealers don't ID. Also by legalizing, it gets rid of that cool factor, because it wouldn't be illegal just restricted. Not to mention the sensless violence over drug territories, gangs, etc, all because they really couldn't profit over marijuana. You don't see drug dealers selling cigarettes(for the most part)...

So don't let a small number of douche bags ruin your prospective on something that is more then you can understand simply because your a 3rd person in the culture.

I say don't do it. But then again, I've never experienced the effects, so I might not be the best person to give my opinion. But you should just say no to the drugs.

By the way, did you know that you are only rebellious if you are normal. That's because mostly everyone today is part of a social group. Everything that was once rebellious is no practiced by almost everyone. Nothing is rebellious anymore.

Drugs are in the eye of the beholder. If you like them there good, If not there bad simple really, To me there good I did 12 B-12 today and 2 ibuprofen and do weed some times nothin bad my life is just fine.so its your choice

Well, whos to say everyone uses it to cope. That's not why I use it, sure sometimes on stress full days I resort to weed, but for the most part everything is going good when I use it. Its the same as paying for video games or anything of that sort. Its a hobby, your brain is ment to be toyed with in my opinion, I mean look at the predicament we're all in

Actually video games are better, they improve reflexes and dexterity while relieving stress and killing time and they are an activity for your brain.At least if you play the right games

and marijuana does many things...it may not be healthy for the part of smoking it, but it isn't as bad as its made out to be.

I think if you don't wanna do it, good choice, but if you don't wanna do it just ignore it. Who cares if so and so smokes marihuana?

"Drugs" isn't as black and white as you make it out to be. There are drugs like marijuana which are a world away from hard drugs like heroin and so on. There's a lot of variation involved and smoking weed really isn't a big deal, the reason why people get the idea that it's cool (or that other people do it because they think it's cool) is because it's illegal.

I don't think drugs are a problem insofar as to say that some people don't know how to handle them. I've known plenty of people who seem decent enough, only to have too much substances and subsequently turn into complete idiots.

End of the day, it's a personal choice. You can have a good time if you're sensible and know your limits, and I don't see why recreational drug users should all be generalised under one stereotype.

Pretty much the only drug that won't kill you is marijuana. Alcohol can kill, coke can kill, heroin can kill, etc...

I don't try and act cool because I smoke weed, its just something I do with friends for fun. It doesn't make me "badass" or "cool" like some people think it makes them. Some people are against them completely, but I could see marijuana legalization and sales bringing the US out of debt.

TL;DR: Do drugs, but stay away from the hard drugs like coke, heroin and meth.

Drugs are not the biggest deal in the world, especially weed. The only time I really do them is when I am drinking to enhance the drunk buzz. The first time I did them, I didn't even end up high, just a slight burn on the back of my throat whenever I inhaled. The burn is less then some of the spicy foods that are out there, and doesn't last that long. you breath in, and exhale. That is it.

I never did it to cope. I did it out of pure curiosity. And thanks to my personality, I can control when I use it. If a friend of mine asks me to join him on an all weekend 4/20 smoking spree for only $1,000 bucks and drive while I'm high, I'll say no. If a friend of mine asks me to spend four hours in his apartment watching adult swim high, then sure.

I will toy with my brain when I feel like it.
