I was trying to log in to MSN at 11:00 because I had an online live job interview at that time... So I open up MSN and I click the login button; then a dialog comes up and says "you HAVE to update to the latest version of windows live to continue."

My interview was meant to be at precisely 11, I tried clicking 'No' but it wouldn't let me log in. So I had to click yes and let it install... It took like 10 whole minutes to install (using my fairly fast internet) and then it had the nerve to offer me to download EXTRA programs which were PRE-TICKED, thankfully I spotted this, and unticked them... Otherwise I might have taken hours.

Anyways, OMG, that was a bitch. So yeah; damn you Microsoft, those new shiny buttons are nice, but I think I would have preferred that job instead.

It was your own damn fault for not logging in prior to the interview.

Lol, yeah... It was alright though; the interviewer was late :)

Also who does Messenger interviews?

It was an alternative to a phone call, it was the first time I did anything like it.
I think they liked me in the end coz now I have to go meet the manager ;p

i'm sure sure that pre interview, downloading a new messenger update would be more convenient than downloading the iso, burning it and installing os.

Ironically, a thread about a man almost losing his job because of Microsoft happens to be the least heated thread in probably all of the programming forum.

RIP Ed McMahon - RIP Farrah Fawcett - RIP Michael Jackson
But wait, there's more...
RIP Billy Mays

It was a scam. He just wanted to get in his pants, so they needed to discuss where to meet.

Tell me about it... They even have a twitter account :p

Ahhh, I remember the good old days; back when people talked and laughed with their mouths... Soon they'll be feeding us through our fingers too.
