Unofficial Contest time!
Ever play a song, and hear a story?
Well, I want you to write a short story to go with a song. Any song at all.
Rules
1.Must be roughly 2000 words.
2. Must be able to relate to with a song on a reasonable level.
4. Must enter the songs title and artist, along with the entry.
3. Be creative!

Entries must be ether posted here, or sent to me in a PM by the end of November.

Judging.
I myself, will take into consider many variables to decide a winner.
Pretty much, best quality story wins.
PRIZES.
Yes there will be a prize for first place.
A 50$ visa gift card will be mailed to the winner.

So, let the writing begin!

and another thing, you should probably go through gumonshoe or someone with this too but to be honest i realy dont care about that.

i mean, if you had a panel of judges or something atleast i could see this as worth a shot, but frankly it seems like youd just pick whichever story aligns itself closest with you and make that the winner, and im fairly certain that this thread is just going to float off the front page of general anyway... i just dont think that its organised enough to be as good or even close to the mcws or whatever theyre called.

So, by write a story for a song, do you mean say, writing a story where the song can fit in, like say, a musical, or writing a story about a song?

Either way I'm kind of confused, but if you elaborate I'd give it a shot.
