well I can't help much with the problem at hand, but for future reference, if you have plans, make sure you tell your parents ahead of time so they don't fuck it up. I know how annoying it is to have to do something for your parents when plans were made weeks before to do something else, but really the only solution is, more planning and notice, both from you AND your parents.
