I just finished deadspace, and I saw that there was a sequel, but only for the wii. I was disappointed, but I'm wondering if it's ever going to be ported to xbox 360.

Thanks

I think that's actually a prequel of sorts and it's actually an on-rails shooter that was released to fairly mediocre reviews. If you're looking for a real sequel there is one in the works and I'm sure it'll be hitting every non-monosyllabic console.

It actually got some decent scores, but nowhere near as high as the original Dead Space.

Anyway, I should definatly buy Dead Space now that it's only $20.

Yeah, I jumped over to metacritic after i posted that and it seemed like it recieved a well above average reception. I retract that previous statement.

I heard the sequel was gonna be a movie.
But since I don't recall where I heard that, 'grain of salt' that statement.

Could you be referring to Dead Space: Downfall? It was an animated prequel that was released shortly after the game.

Maybe.
In sight of playing Dead Space, I can say that it's scare factor is really cheap, all it is is some random creature charging at you with that trademark 'SCARY SCREECH" tune just about every time. The only thing driving me to continue playing is the story.
Yeah, I find the controls to be stiff too.

I was reading the BBS once an there was this dick who claimed to know details on the next game.

Basically the idiot said that the next game will be set on EARTH. Issac will return to EARTH and battle the aliens on EARTH. Everyone in the thread doubted this because the series is called Dead SPACE.

Anyway, I'd love another game - although not a film, they've already made it, its called Event Horizon.

I would, and I'd actually like a bigger final boss.

That final boss was HUUUUUUUGE.

PC Gamer stated that a movie might be in the works. Nothing's been released about it, than this:

"D.J. Caruso (Disturbia, Eagle Eye) is set to direct what, at this early stage, appears to be a fairly straight adaptation of EA's gruesome space de-limb-minator action-horror game. No screenwriter has been attached, however, so it could still end up starring Renee Zellweger in a film about mid-life romantic angst."

Its a prequel where you play as one of the workers on the shipas it is being attacked by those...things.
But you already know what happens to those guys: They lose.

Oh, and its an on-rails shooter.

Just because.

Dead Space: Extraction is a prequel to Dead space, and is a lame rail shooter. Dead Space 2 has been announced and I don't think a release date is set as of yet. There is one coming, I assure you, for PS3 and Xbox 360. I can't wait!
