First of all, I do know there are many other programs which are problably better than Flash when it comes to design. I prefer Flash regardless, mainly because of the easy to use interface.

With that said, I set the stage to 21 x 29,7 cm (598.5 x 846.45 px), the default paper size where I live.
My question is, is there anyway to make everything outside of the stage disappear when I'm done, so as to avoid having problems when printing my work?

A mask might do what you want... but you might also look into actionscript classes that are out there that can export whats on stage as a jpg... or something similar. I've never used flash for that.

Yeah, a mask could definitely do that.

Hmm, actionscript classes? Why not just File -> Export -> Export Image ?

^Because everything would be included in the .jpg, not just what's on the stage, sadly.

Thats wrong , when exporting to any image instead of choosing 'minimum size required ' choose ' Full document size' and that sets it to the stage resolution

OOP AS3 || Flash 8,CS3,CS4 || *sigh* || The new forum on the block : FLASH SEED !

That's exactly what I wanted to say
It's just a setting you don't need to use any mask.

Anyway, I'm just like you.
I use flash too just because the interface is so easy to use and I actually do pretty good graphics
Can I see some of your work?

I'm actually just starting out on Graphical Design college, so I really don't have a lot now. They didn't teach us how to use any software yet expect amazing art pieces, so yeah, kinda hard. As of now, all I have is this silly picture of myself.

I do have some projects in my mind though, one of which is heavily inspired on Tristan Manco's "Street Sketchbook". Check it out if you have time, it has some great drawings and graffiti alike.
