That shouldn't even be a question or an opinion, just a fact. X-Play now has shitty news and recycled jokes and they air on a channel that tries too hard to be nerdy but yet hip and edgy. Remember when that show was actually centered around video games and technology? It was so long ago it seems like only a dream.

i liked the old x-play because of the comedy. but the new one is better by far.

I stopped watching G4 since it just got crammed with re-runs of terrible shows like cops and cheaters, I never knew it when it was TechTV but early episodes of X-Play are a lot better then they are now. he jokes seem fresher and the set didn't look like it was designed by a four year old. It was more simpler back in the days but now it's over produced and terribly written.

That being said I think Adam Sessler is actually a pretty decent guy, he has his sessler's sopbox videos which I watch occasionally and every now and then a joke will slip out and it will be pretty funny, least a whole better then it is now.

Oh yeah, and Blair Herter is a twat.

That's fine, but you can't seriously favor the watered down dull reviews of today's X-Play if you were a fan of their suggestive and wacky content back in the day.

Does Blair still do comic reviews on AOTS? That was my main reason for watching that show.

That Int'l Ladies Show IS racist-they never show any black models and the only Asians they show are from Japan. There's lots of pretty Chinese, Taiwaneese, Singaprean and Korean women out there.

Ah yeah, the shows that have nothing to do with the network's supposed gaming theme (last I knew of, at least).

I too started watching X-Play in 2004, near the terminal of TechTV. It was one of my favorite shows back then, and I thought the humor was spot on. Then again, I was also 14 at the time, so maybe it wouldn't meet up with my standards for a quality show today.

I don't watch X-Play anymore with the exception of individual reviews posted on Hulu that pique my interest.
