Old or New X-Play?

So you people like the new X-Play in which they give serious game reviews, or do you miss the old X-Play in which they gave cmoedic approaches to reviews? I've been watching X-Play since '04, or '05- I prefer the serious reviews. What about you?

I never had G4 up until a few months ago, and that show fucking sucks.

Actually, all of G4 sucks, save for Cops, Cheaters, and Ninja Warrior.

i liked the old one, had a more viewer-friendly set, funnier skits, and more games and less bull crap.

There's still plenty of jokes, but the humor has a lot more references like inside jokes almost. Now it's really cool.

I liked X-play when it was on TechTV before G4 took over. So I guess that means I liked the comedic approach.

Either way, I don't have the channel anymore so I don't ever watch it

I have to say that G4 is a crappy channel. All of its programs seem to try too hard and seem to just make themselves suck because of that, X-play being one of them.

Chris Hardwick knows how to make whatever people do look stupid. That's why it's funny.

It was a decent show back when they only did game reviews, but now it's completely unwatchable. Why would I watch a TV show to find news that could be found online in a fraction of the time? Also, their attempts at humour are often terrible.

Which is funny considering that it's supposed to be a channel entirely devoted to video games, instead we get re-runs of Star Trek, Cops and Cheaters.

I remember the days of TechTV...before G4 bought it out.

Idk I feel like all the publicity X-Play has gotten has gone to it's head. Both hosts seem more cocky, and the show's producers have tried to make it look 'cooler' than it is.

"Old Or New X-Play?" is something truly rare. A thread that I actually hate to death. Let's face it, it's an unorganized, sloppy mess, and no one half sane would ever use it. In short, don't even look at it. It's not worth your time.

I like X-Play no matter what, but it sucks how it's now only 3 days a week, interspersed within 19 hours of paid programming, "Movies That Don't Suck", and Cops.

The old X-Play was juvenile and sophomoric. I prefer the new ones-they are far more serious. They probably realized that older audiences got tired of the crappy reviews and comedic sketches.

AOTS was better when Zack Morris and Will O'Neal were on. Kevin and Munn are trying too hard to be funny. Munn is much better than that blonde who used to be on there.

I liked FIlter-the old show with Diane Mizota. I missed the man who talked about sites people found on the web.

X-Play and Attack of the Show! were the two shows worth watching before they changed (AotS! was worth watching after the first set change). Now they suck, and Attack of the Show! is too focused on the internet. Those bastards.
