They kicked ass! First season was awesome. Digimon World for PlayStation 1 is one of my favorite games of all time. Anyone else enjoy there awesomeness?

Digimon was the best childrens show ever, mainly just first season.

Holy fuck it was one of my favourites too. I can't get rid of the game at all. I simply still adore it. I loved the series too. Much better than Pokemon.

yeah same here, it was like pokemon mark 2... I already had 151 pokemon names to learn, didn't want to learn another god knows how many digimon

i thought digimon copied pokemon lol......didnt really get into digimon.......i liked the first season and then after that it kinda repeated itself with different characters :/ .......but pokemon was cool.............but right now it sucks balls haha

Both aired in 1996. Both (especially Digimon) are based on the virtual pet, the tamagotchi. If anything, both series are ripoffs of children's toys.

In "Digimon" did the games come first? Whenever I hear of it, I hear of the anime, but I think it may have been based on games similar to "Pokemon", which I believe it actually did in fact proceed. I never watched the show, but I have heard good things about it at least.

I remember that game its basically super smash bros with digimon. still a pretty fun game though but the final boss Reapermon was pretty tough.

I play Digimon World, and I enjoy it for a few weeks, then I beat the game.

A month or so goes by. I go on the NG BBS, and I see a topic about Digimon. Curious, I check it out.

Motherfucker, they mentioned Digimon world. I dig out my old, somewhat scratched CD, and pop it into my Playstation. My savegame is still there, but I start a new one.

A few weeks later, I beat the game, and it gets buried back with my other old games. About a month later, I go on the NG BBS, and I see a topic about Digimon. Curious, I decide to check it out.

I was more into Digimon World 2003. Also, Digimon's third season blew a hole in awesomeness.
